Itineraries

  1. 1.20 to 2.30 AM - Hotel Pick-Up

    Our team will pick you up at your hotel lobby in a comfortable, private AC car. The pick-up time depends on where you are staying (Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, or Nusa Dua).

  2. 3.45 AM - Arrival at Mount Batur Starting Point

    You will arrive at the starting point. While enjoying the fresh air and a hot drink, our professional Batur trekking guide will give you a quick briefing about the route and safety tips.

  3. 3.50 AM - Starting the Mount Batur Trek

    The night adventure begins. You will walk up a natural trail at a relaxed pace that perfectly matches your physical fitness.

  4. 5.50 AM - Arriving at the Summit

    We will reach the top just before sunrise. While waiting for the spectacular view, your guide will serve a light breakfast of eggs and bananas cooked naturally over the volcanic steam.

  5. 6.20 AM - Active Crater Exploration

    After taking photos and having breakfast, we will walk along the crater rim. Here you can see hot steam vents, the active crater, and if you’re lucky, some wild monkeys.

  6. 7.00 AM - Heading Back Down

    We start our trek down to the parking area. On the way, you can clearly see the beautiful Batur caldera and the lake, which were hidden in the dark on the way up.

  7. 9.00 AM - Reaching the Finish Point

    The trek is done! You can relax for a bit before we get back in the car to continue the trip.

  8. 10.00 AM - Visiting a Bali Coffee Plantation

    On the way back, we will stop at a local coffee plantation. You can see how traditional coffee is made and enjoy a free tasting of various natural herbal drinks.

  9. 12.00 PM - Back to the Hotel

    The tour ends here, and we will drop you off at your hotel to rest.

If it's just a light rain, the trek goes on as planned. However, if the weather is extreme and dangerous, our guide will make the best decision on the spot for everyone's safety.

Temperatures before sunrise can be quite cold, around 14°C to 18°C. The wind at the top can also be strong, so you really need a thick, windproof jacket to keep you warm.

Unlike a shared tour where you have to keep up with other people, this private package gives you more freedom. You can take breaks whenever you want, take photos without rushing, and get full attention from your guide.
