Mount Batur Sunset Trekking Private Package (All Included)

Many travelers want to climb Bali's most famous active volcano without waking up in the middle of the night. A sunset hike offers the perfect solution. You can sleep in and start your adventure in the late afternoon.

The trails are much quieter during this time of day. You will avoid the massive morning crowds completely. You will reach the summit just as the golden hour begins.

Our private Mount Batur sunset trekking package offers a more relaxed alternative to the Mount Batur sunrise private trekking package. Your entire journey takes roughly eight to ten hours from start to finish. We pick you up directly from your accommodation in a comfortable air conditioned private vehicle.

You will hike alongside a friendly and professional local guide from Mount Batur Guide. These local experts know every hidden trail on the 1,717 meter mountain. They will share interesting stories about regional culture and the history of the volcano as you climb.

The hike rewards you with peaceful and highly photogenic views over the island. You will watch the sun dip below the horizon away from the typical tourist trail. Your guide will even prepare a light evening meal using the natural hot steam rising out of the active volcano vents. This trip is highly recommended for couples seeking a romantic atmosphere or groups of friends wanting a unique outdoor experience.
